ASL Tour at the Brooklyn Museum: Robert E. Blum Gallery
Robert E. Blum Gallery, 1st Floor
Visitors from the D/deaf community are invited to experience our collection in an American Sign Language (ASL) tour, led by a Deaf teaching artist. This tour is in ASL only, without voice interpretation, and begins after a brief meet-and-greet. This month, follow two artists’ explorations of care, healing, and memory in Guadalupe Maravilla: Tierra Blanca Joven and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer: A Crack in the Hourglass, An Ongoing COVID-19 Memorial.
The program is free, but space is limited, and registration is required. This tour is designed for the d/Deaf community. If you're an ASL student, please email access@brooklynmuseum.org for more information about tours for ASL students.
